name:

Jérémy Celen

Place 5 - Flemish Parliament (effective)

quarter:

Elsene

priority #1:

For me, good quality education for everyone means that we need to ban using debt recovery companies for unpaid school bills, quick and efficient
detection of situations of poverty and a significant reduction in the number of young people who leave school without having obtained a certificate.

The youngest person on this electoral list for the Flemish Parliament is Jeremy Celen, who is 23 years old. He is a member of the national board of young socialists. Jeremy has studied at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) [Free University Brussels] and is now in his last year of training to become a teacher, which has always been his dream. The fact that education has been treated like a poor relation in recent years is painful for him. He is calling for more resources for education but also for bureaucracy to be sorted out so that Brussels is a more understandable, centralised and efficient city for all Brusseleir. He also gives up his free time to help pupils do their homework.
